- Vaughn and I met in 1970 Lake Jackson Texas when he was serving as a full time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (LDS). We were married in the Salt Lake LDS temple in Oct 1972 on Friday the 13th. (we are obviously NOT superstitious!). We are thankful for 36 happy years together, for6 amazing children and 16 eqaully wonderful Grandchildren. We are blessed to run a company called Stuart Awning in St. George, UT for the last 16 years.
